Desislava completed her general dental degree in 2007, followed by various post-graduate courses. She joined the team at DSO in 2016. She qualified as an orthodontist in 2019 after completing a master’s degree in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick. Dessi was also part of the orthodontic team at Derriford hospital for a period of time.

Dessi enjoys working with the happy, upbeat yet always professional team. She is devoted to constantly improving her skills, to give everyone the best possible smile. Dessi supports the team of orthodontic therapists on the clinical floor.

Outside work, Dessi likes music and reading, practices yoga and enjoys long walks with her partner and son.
